Empirical G values

Empirical G values

Check out the distribution of empirical (i.e; simulated) G values for the two pairs of populations.

Empirical G values were obtained from one hundred simulations of 2883 sequences under the most-likely set of demographic parameter values. The distribution of 2883*100 G values constitutes the “empirical demographic” distribution of values, to which the 2883 G-values obtained from the experimental  data set must be compared. The red arrow indicates the 99% quantile (corresponding to a threshold with P = 0.01). At this threshold, False Discovery Rate FDR = 0.25.
